I traded my deer rifle, Ruger Model 77 .270 to my grandson for his youth rifle. It is an New England Firearms .243 caliber single shot. It had a really cheapo
scope on it and was much to small for him. So, due to the dwindling health I gave him mine as he would get more use out of it than I will in the future. I am
going to go to killing paper and cardboard. Maybe a varmint or two once in a while. I thought even though this is a Motorcycle forum you might like to see the
changes I did to the gun. I bought a semi-finished stock and fore arm. I had to finish it and fit it to the gun. Took me about two weeks off an on. But now I
think my grandson wants it back. However the stock it right handed and he's a lefty.
